How does it work?
Bring in your originals to our Midtown, Reno Location (No Shipping, No Worries!) – any brand of prints, film, photos, tapes, and film reels. In a few days to weeks – depending on the size of your project– you’ll receive your conveniently converted files with standard and convenient Digital Download Link (with optional USB and/or DVDs) along with your originals.What can I have digitally converted?
We digitize all types of prints, film, and video(35mm slides, negatives of all sizes, mounted or loose); Large and Small pieces; artwork; Consumer video tapes: VHS, Hi8, Betamax, VHS-C, MiniDV, 8mm Video Cassette, Digital8, and MicroMV; and more.
How long does it take?
Please allow approximately 2 - 6 weeks once we receive your originals.Project turnaround is completely dependent on quantity and types of originals. [ Smaller Projects and Rush Jobs (ex: Memorial Service) may be prioritized for quick turnaround to accommodate your needs ] Some private collections take longer than others to scan, based on condition and production. Smaller projects take a week, Larger projects (and Video Transfers) may take longer. All projects get our 'Guesstimate' turnaround time!
Where is the scanning done? Do you ship them out?
100% of our digital scans are done In-House!Our Digital Techs are experienced in handling ALL types of analog media, and your originals are handled with white glove treatment and care. Your originals are never shipped anywhere.
What do I get back?
Digitized copies on your photos with Digital Download Link is standard.Digital Downloads are available for approximately 30days once completed. We recommend backing up all of your files to your computer and hard drives right away!
You may purchase optional USB Thumb Drive, and/or DVD, as well as all your original media.
Additional USB Drives and DVDs are available any time.
Your New ShoeBox!
Your originals will be packaged in acid-free glassine sleeves and placed in our convenient ShoeBox™* to help protect against air, water, and UV light. Some originals (oversize albums, etc) may not fit in your new ShoeBox™, but we will do our best to hand them back with a protective cover.*some customer jobs may be kept in original boxes/keepsakes for return to customer. Albums will be in original condition and are typically too large for a ShoeBox™ and will be returned in the/a box to hand back to the customer
All analog media is professionally digitized by hand in our state-of-the-art facility.
